Crocus and Daffodil Mug

The first signs of spring always bring a sense of hope for artist Alana Wilson. It's hard to not feel a little optimistic when you're surrounded by crocuses and daffodils like you are in Sydney, NS when the snow melts. These daffodil and crocus mugs in red clay have a raised design and gold  lustre accents. They are approximately 4 inches tall and hold about 12 - 14 oz each.

All mugs are hand built and hand decorated, meaning no two are ever exactly the same. Alana use a clear glaze over applied slips and underglazes. Her glazes have been tested for food safety. Mugs with a  metallic finish are NOT microwave safe, and she encourages hand washing for longevity.
