Looking to POP UP at PROJECT A this summer? We’re so excited you’re here!

Vendors we work with:

PROJECT A pop ups are dedicated to supporting Canadian artists, small businesses and makers with a focus on sustainability and creativity. Emerging artists and start ups are more than welcome to apply. 

The Details:

  • This is an outdoor opportunity. Please come prepared for mountain weather.
  • Pop ups are pre-booked in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Any day of the week may the booked from May 18th – September 30th 2024.
  • All pop ups are manned by the vendor and they may bring no more than one helper to assist throughout the day.
  • Set up takes place at 9.00AM sharp.
  • Regular pop up hours are 10.00PM - 6.00PM. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays our shop is open later in the evening and booked pop ups are welcome to stay set up until 8.00PM if they would like but this is not a requirement.
  • The booth must stay set up until 6.00PM (weather permitting)

Project A will provide:

  • 10’X8’ outdoor partially covered cabana. If forecast calls for heavy rain or snow, an allotted space of 4’x6’ will be provided inside the shop. The Cabana is equipped with a rain resistant cover so light rain shouldn't impact most set ups.
  • Two 2’X6’ tables and white tablecloths for display
  • Assisted advertising: IG stories prior to pop up
  • Wi-Fi, 1 free parking stall and limited storage indoor storage space
  • Bathroom, fridge, sink, microwave for lunches
  • Food Vendors and pop ups requiring electrical/heavy machinery must submit a proposal for review. Extra fees may apply based on building requirements.

Artist must provide:

  • Packaging of choice
  • Cash float and payment terminal (square or other)
  • All other display materials
  • Small/medium sign is permitted (no larger than 6 square feet: 2x3, 1x6 etc)
  • 1 clothing rack is allowed if necessary
  • Tablecloth for demos or products that may damage table – must be white/grey/cream/black
  • All storage boxes must be hidden by tablecloths or stored in car or PROJECT A back room. Display must be kept tidy and branded.
  • It can be windy in Canmore, be prepared to weigh down displays and products.
Cost per day: $150.00
Payments can be made via e-transfer to hello@project-a.shop only once dates are confirmed.  Pop ups are not reserved until payment is made. Please specify requested dates in the ‘note’ section of E-transfer. We do not offer refunds for pop up fees.
